Ariel Christian Heredia Jimenez is the visionary leader behind Carbon Blue Solutions. With a deep passion for environmental innovation and sustainable development, Ariel drives the company’s mission to create impactful solutions for global climate challenges. His leadership combines strategic thinking, scientific insight, and a commitment to real-world results. Under his guidance, Carbon Blue Solutions is pioneering transformative projects that restore ecosystems, advance carbon capture technologies, and inspire a new generation of climate action.
Maria Shuklina
Our Chief Science Officer
Docent Maria Shukina is our Chief Science Officer. Based in Spain, Dr. Shukina brings a remarkable background to her new role, with extensive experience across various sectors. From 1990 to 1996, she was a Senior Researcher in the Crop Programming Department at the Scientific Production Association "Irrigation," where she conducted significant research on irrigation water quality and its impact on crop yields. Dr. Shukina holds extensive educational credentials in auditing, crisis management, and agricultural sciences, making her a perfect fit to drive innovative scientific advancements at Carbon Blue Solutions. Her expertise in scientific research and her comprehensive understanding of agricultural and environmental sciences will undoubtedly contribute to the company’s mission of developing sustainable and groundbreaking solutions.
Alexey Idrisov
Co-Founder & Strategic Communications Lead
Alexey is the creative force behind Carbon Blue’s public voice and global partnerships. As co-founder, he oversees media strategy, storytelling, and investor outreach — making complex science understandable, and bold ideas irresistible.
With a background spanning environmental advocacy, international business, and political communication, Alexey bridges the gap between technology and influence. His work ensures Carbon Blue doesn’t just innovate — it inspires.
Steve Mayer (Morocco) — Director,
Steve leads product direction, commercial strategy and partnerships across Carbon Blue Solutions’ portfolio, including EcoAppraise, OasisCone and IKWAGO.
His work focuses on building practical digital tools that address real-world business, sustainability and workflow challenges — from evidence-based green-claims review, to environmental asset concepts, to multilingual intake systems that turn unstructured customer communication into usable business records.
Across the portfolio, Steve works on product strategy, market positioning, user experience, partner development and go-to-market execution, with a focus on making each solution commercially practical, understandable and useful outside of a purely technical setting.
